The Upper Valley Medical Center Employee Assistance Program is a professional consultation and counseling service available in the workplace for employees, managers and employers.
As a hospital-based, not-for-profit organization, we are highly committed to providing outstanding services to maintain thriving work forces and healthy, safe workplaces.
With our primary office located on the Upper Valley Medical Center campus, we have been offering highly individualized employee assistance to companies since 1993.
Our Employee Assistance Program responds to the needs of organizations throughout the Miami Valley that are small or large, public or private. In addition, we provide services at a number of locations throughout Ohio and nationally.
With the Upper Valley Medical Center Employee Assistance Program, employees and their family members can obtain confidential assessment, short-term counseling and referral services for a wide range of issues.

Uniquely Qualified Team
The professional staff of the Upper Valley Medical Center Employee Assistance Program offers an impressive combination of skills that uniquely qualifies them as employee assistance professionals and clinicians.
All of the counseling staff affiliated with our Employee Assistance Program are, at a minimum:
- Educated with a Master’s degree (in various fields of counseling)
- Licensed within the state they practice
- Certified through the Employee Assistance Professionals Association
Individual staff members have over 20 years experience in private practice, employee assistance programs, mental health counseling, substance abuse counseling and mediation.
