Epic Updates In-Basket Sign-off Button

Currently, cosigning a restricted note type (e.g., Progress Notes) from the In Basket presents the message:

Now, there is a button labeled “Sign Off / Add to Note,” which allows the user to Sign Off on a restricted note type.

Type .scip into documentation or imbed .scip into a template (the dot phrase in a template will appear as @scip@).

Creating User Order Sets

  1. Click the [insert Image#11] toolbar button from the chevron symbol [insert Image#12] on the main toolbar.
  2. Search to find the desired Order Set.
  3. Place a check in the checkbox next to the desired Order Set.
  4. Click Create User Order Set.
  5. Open each section and subsection and make the desired selections.
  6. Click Accept to save the defaults.

The Order Set now has default settings and is listed in Order Sets under Favorites:

Editing User Order Sets

  1. Click the User Order Sets toolbar button
  2. Search to find the desired Order Set.
  3. Place a check in the checkbox next to the desired Order Set.
  4. Click Edit User Order Set

Deleting User Order Sets or Using the Base (Original) Order Set

  1. Click Order Sets.
  2. Under Favorites locate the desired user Order Set and click in the checkbox next to the Order Set.
  3. Click Open Order Sets.
  4. Click onto Manage User Order Sets, and you will see:

Delete User Order Set removes your default settings and reverts back to the original Order Set.
Use base Order Set selects the original Order Set, but does not change your user Order Set.

Locating Another User’s Order Sets

  1. Click Order Sets.
  2. Click the July IMG 15 hyperlink
  3. July IMG 16

  4. Enter the user’s name and order set (if known) and click Search.
  5. Click the box next to the desired Order Set.
  6. Click Accept.
  7. Click Open Order Sets.
  8. Items may be selected and/or unselected, as desired.
