Volunteer
Volunteering at Upper Valley Medical Center (UVMC) is a healthy way to make a difference and is a satisfying way to stay active and involved in your community. It means sharing your time and talents where you are needed most and making a difference in people’s lives.
Fundraising
Volunteers are a large part of the UVMC fundraising effort. They raise $100,000 annually through the gift shop, the Lifeline program, personal donations and fundraising projects. These projects include bi-annual book sales and periodic uniform sales.
Since 1998, the UVMC Auxiliary has provided over $1.4 million in funding for equipment and special projects for the hospital. The Auxiliary is especially proud of their annual Scholarship program for those pursuing a health care oriented degree. Twelve to fourteen $2,000 scholarships are awarded each year.
