Susie Bullard

Counting the years she worked at PMMC, Susie Bullard, LSW, has been a medical social worker with Upper Valley Medical Center (UVMC) for nearly 15 years.  From the time she was 16 years old, the graduate of Ball State University was determined to be a social worker in a hospital setting, helping people.  "I never changed my mind," Susie recalled.  She is part of Social Services, a division of PI/UM, working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, responsible for cases in ER, Women's Services and A&B.  Susie said she works with a fantastic group of people.  "We are a team.  We help each other out," she said.  According to PI/UM, Susie is dedicated to her role as a social worker.  Her caring support has made the difference in some difficult adoption cases.  She has worked on her day off, or stayed late, or come in on weekends to support patient needs.  "While doing all of this, she exemplified grace, humility, honesty and so much integrity.  She is a Caring Plus role model treating others with respect at all times.  PI/UM can always depend on Susie to perform at top level for the patient."
