June 2009 UVMC Employee of the Month
Congratulations to Linda McNutt, Laundry Aide at Joint Hospital Services (JHS) for being named June Employee of the Month! Linda’s main area of responsibility is packing orders for JHS customers, ensuring that they receive the items they requested. She is also responsible for running the baby folder; helping hand-fold isolation gowns and washcloths; and processing scrubs. Linda’s work doesn’t stop there, as she lends a helping hand whenever she’s needed and serves as the back-up supervisor for JHS in the assistant manager’s absence.
Linda’s most recent role in JHS started in February of 2000, but she was previously employed in JHS from 1992 through 1999. She also has helped out in the UVMC storeroom on occasion.
Linda’s co-workers appreciate her cheerful sense of humor which she integrates into her daily duties, helping the JHS staff work together as a team.
“We have a great group of people. I look forward to coming to work each day and working together as a team to get our job done,” comments Linda.
When she’s not busy at JHS, Linda stays busy with her 6 children, 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and her dachshund, Franky. When she has time, she enjoys playing games on the internet and partaking in one of her hobbies, needlepoint.
Congratulations, Linda, on being named UVMC’s June Employee of the Month! Keep up the great work!
