May 2010 Employee of the Month

Sheree Kremer’s positive approach to a growing list of daily tasks helped make her the May employee of the month.

A clerical worker in the Home Health Department, Sheree assists with payroll, ordering supplies for the office and patient care, tracking physician orders and processing patient registrations and discharges.

Sheree joined UVMC in 1977 as a nurse aide and ward secretary at Piqua Memorial Hospital. She transferred to home health in the 1980s working first as an aide before taking a clerical position. She left in late 1998 before returning to Home Health in 2001.

Sheree was described by a co-worker as a “fly under the radar” type of worker.

 “She keeps busy and productive and positive at all times … She is a shining example of how all positions in the organization contribute to good patient care and satisfaction even if a position does not provide hands-on patient care,” the co-worker said.

“I love my job and everyone I work with. We have a great team,” Sheree said.

When not at work, Sheree enjoys gardening, working in her flower beds and spending time with granddaughters Chloe, 9, and Miah, 2.
